Albert T. Washburne, Jr.
Albert T. Washburne was born in Petoskey on February 1, 1902. His parents were Albert T. and Dana (Crosby) Washburne. He graduated from Petoskey High School in 1920 and attended Detroit College of Law. He was appointed prosecuting attorney on April 1, 1926. He was an assistant to the office of the attorney general in Lansing from 1935-1937. He then resumed private practice in Petoskey.
He married Anthonette Urbanetz on November 24, 1926. They had a son, Albert T. Washburne III.
He was a member of the Masons, Odd Fellows, and Elks, as well as the Petoskey Hunting Club.
He and his wife belonged to the Presbyterian Church.
