Ethel Rowan Fasquelle
Born in 1867, Ethel Rowan Fasquelle moved to Petoskey with her parents Joseph and Leila in 1875. She was a reporter for the Petoskey Evening News and a freelance writer for many magazines and newspapers. She published her book, When Michigan Was Young, at the age of 83. She was a member of the Pe-to-se-ga chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and served for many years as a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Petoskey.
Ethel died in 1958.
