Reusch Jewelers is the oldest family-owned and operated jewelry store in Michigan. Jacob Reusch came to Petoskey in 1885 to work for Will Searle as a watchmaker at Little Will's on Lake Street. He purchased the store when Mr. Searle retired and his son, Fred, joined him in the business. The store moved to its current Mitchell Street location in 1936.
