Museum Days
Sponsor admission for a day at the museum! This is a great way to recognize a birthday or anniversary, or to memorialize a loved one. This program is available for business and individuals.

Business sponsorship includes signs at the museum thanking you for your generosity as well as a sign for your business announcing that you are a museum sponsor. We will also give your business a shout out on social media.

Donating Artifacts FAQ
What type of items do you accept?
Because of our very limited storage space, we can only accept items that are related to Petoskey history and that are in good condition. Items must fit in our storage facility.
Will the item be displayed?
Most artifacts are in storage and made available for research. When we change exhibits, we do bring out items from storage, but we will never guarantee that a donated artifact will be displayed.
Can I get the item back later?
If you have any idea that you might want the item back, you should keep it. Once you sign over an artifact to us, it becomes our property. We don't want to get involved in disputes over GRandma's china!
Can I see an item I donated?
Most artifacts are in off-site storage, so we'll need a heads-up that you're interested. Very large items that can't be brought to the museum easily can be seen in storage with advance notice.
